Vickie R. Braxton serves as Director and Curriculum Facilitator for Dorman Group Holdings LLC, where she leads the design, development, and implementation of educational programming, workforce training curriculum, and instructional learning experiences for clients, schools, organizations, and community-based initiatives. Her work combines deep expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, adult learning methodologies, and applied pedagogy with a strong commitment to building programs that are practical, inclusive, and transformational.

She also serves as Executive Director of Lift Higher, an affiliated nonprofit of Dorman Group Holdings providing job readiness training, life skills development, and workforce placement support for individuals within the neurodiverse population - creating accessible pathways to employment, independence, and long-term personal success for underserved communities.

In addition, Vickie is Senior Trainer and Instructor in Hospitality and Food Service Management for Sunflower Bakery in Rockville, Maryland - a nationally recognized training and production facility serving students on the autism spectrum and individuals with co-occurring diagnoses.

With more than 30 years of experience in training, education, workforce development, and human services, Vickie has dedicated her career to supporting individuals from underserved and underrepresented communities, including at-risk youth, individuals with learning differences, unemployed and unhoused individuals, returning citizens, and juvenile detainees. Her earlier work includes serving as a Program Instructor for The Close Up Foundation and Program Facilitator for the ACLU Summer Institute.

From 1999 until its COVID-era closure, Vickie spent more than 20 years as Director of Administration for Super Leaders Incorporated, the nationally respected youth leadership nonprofit founded by Brig Owens (Washington Redskins) and Gene Upshaw (Los Angeles Raiders), overseeing programming across seven schools in DC, Montgomery County, and Prince George's County. Since 2018 she has also served as an Adjunct Instructor at Prince George's Community College in the Department of Wellness, Culinary Arts, and Hospitality.

Vickie holds an undergraduate degree from Thomas Edison State University and a Master's degree from Liberty University in Human Services with a concentration in Juvenile Justice Programs. She completed a Doctorate in Education with a concentration in Community Care and Counseling and a trauma-informed focus. She is the proud mother of ten adult children - eight of whom came through foster care - and mentor to many others.
