Lynda Dorman is a seasoned executive, entrepreneur, and management consultant with more than 30 years of leadership experience and past performance serving business, corporate, government, and nonprofit clients. Dorman is the Founder and CEO of Dorman Group Holdings LLC (DGH), a Prince George's County, Maryland-based SBE/MBE- certified management consulting firm specializing in organizational capacity building, policy and program development, project management, business assessments, IT solutions, business accelerator facilitation, training and curriculum design, small business advisory, and grants management.

Founded in 2009 as The Dorman Group and rebranded in 2019, DGH has since expanded its portfolio to include Dorman Global Media, delivering digital marketing and AI integration and training solutions. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dorman founded and operated Orange Wall Enterprises LLC (2020-2023), a medical supply and consulting company that served as the exclusive supplier of machine-learning technology to Prince George's County Government across community testing centers, shelters, and emergency response, law enforcement, and correction departments.

From 2020 to 2024, Dorman produced and co-hosted "Reset: Health, Wellness & Lifestyle with Lynda Dorman," a streaming television and radio simulcast aired on ROKU, Apple TV, Tempo, and WSXT-FM Bloomberg Radio, later joined by former Congresswoman Dr. Donna Christiansen.

Her professional career has included Vice President of Special Operations and Philanthropy for the University of Maryland Capital Region Health and Executive Director of the UMCRH Foundation (formerly Dimensions Healthcare System), where she led the $25 million capital naming campaign for the new Largo, MD hospital that opened in 2021. Dorman has also held executive leadership positions at the BET Foundation, Lawyers for Children America, American Red Cross, and UNCF.

Throughout her career, Dorman has developed national and community-based programs to expand opportunity for disadvantaged communities, executive-produced award-winning broadcast programming and public service announcements, and partnered with national organizations and federal agencies to shape policy on women's health, child welfare, and higher education equity. She has led workforce and organizational assessments, business process re-engineering, training, and information technology projects for private and public agencies.

In February 2024 Dorman was inducted into THE BOW Collective™, an organization of the nation's top 1% of small business owners, and in February 2025 received the "2025 BOW Knows Growth" award. Earlier recognitions include the Women of Prince George's Community Leader award (2021), Minority Enterprise Advocate magazine's "25 Influential Women in Business" honor (2013), and a feature in Aetna Insurance's African American History Calendar (2007).

Dorman has served in volunteer leadership roles with the Thurgood Marshall Center Trust (Board Chair), Women of Prince George's, the National Coalition of 100 Black Women (Prince George's County and Southern Maryland chapters), and Open My Heart Foundation. A member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated since 1993, she has served the Washington DC Alumnae Chapter and Foundation and the national corporate partnership committee for the DST Centennial.

Dorman earned her Bachelor of Arts from National Louis University and holds an MBA and a Master of International Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is also a Certified Virtual Facilitator.
